Fakes usually the date goes to the middle of the G in Breitling, I would say it's real - wait to hear from others.

Yes, real. As well as the date window width, the sec marks at the cardinals are short on the fake version.

Here's a pic showing the difference in the position of the word BREITLING over the date window to look for (gen on top).

Waiting for serial number and proof of possession photos.
Almost there. Thanks again.

Question:

Case back has Model number only no serial - Is this normal on latest BBs?

The serial # is in smaller fainter etching below the Model #. Can't be sure but I *think* it is there at the edge of the photo - ask for a pic of the serial #. ALL Breitlings leave the factory with a serial # on the caseback - except some LEs which just have the number of the limited run, ie, XXXX/2000. Sometimes it happens that a serial # is erased by overly vigorous polishing of the caseback, but I wouldn't expect that from on anearly new watch.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I asked - but he's probably pretty sick of me by now.
We'll see.

Other option is grey market, but it's less common to remove serial numbers there now - was the norm a few years ago to try and protect the AD.

In terms of LEs, I can't think of any that didn't have both the LE# and the watch serial number.

Well...after much back/forth (and some macro photo training), he finally came through with the illusive serial number shot. Glad he hung in there with me cause I know he was reaching the end of his patience (and me mine). Sent the funds and standing by for B #2.

Thank you ALL - You guys are invaluable. :lingsrock:
