I have an idea which I like best, but would like to hear your opinions. (Candidly some are camera and other iPhone pics in unequal lighting  )

1. On a Navi Bracelet

2. On a Black Calf –

3. On a Brown Calf –

4. On a Burgundy Croco –

I voted Burgundy Croc. That strap and dial just look like they go together really well. The black calf looks good, but leaves me a little blah. I think the bracelet would be a much better contender if it had closed end links that fit snug with the case.

Just my $.02

I tend to agree about the black calf and the brown is a better look between the two IMO. Normally I'd agree on the bracelet, but for a small wristed dude like me, the drape is nice - gives me an inkling what normal wristed guys experience with a Navi bracelet.

Still not saying my choice.

That's a really tricky one Sharkman,

To give a truly 'unbiased' opinion the pics should all be nearly identical - ideally, they should all be shown with the same shirt and background so that the only change you are seeing is the strap itself IMHO.

Normally, I am a bracelet man however I am starting to like the straps more and more. The watch does look really nice on the bracelet (what you can see of it) but I really liked the burgundy strap (that could be down to the fact that I liked the pic with that very nice shirt too). So there is my very humble opinion :) .

Yes, the "study's protocol" certainly leaves something to be desired. The burgundy looks less "brown" wearing a brown leather jacket than a Navy blazer. Thanks for your opinion.

Also, it appears that the temperature and relative humidity are way off from picture to picture. Please redo this experiment with less variables....

I love the croc and navi bracelet. Anyway you look at it, that's a keeper!

This is one of my favorite watches. I think it looks best on a calf. I voted black because it makes the subdials pop. I like the brown calf also but in your photos the black looks awesome. I must say, all your combos look great and I like the burgundy calf much more than I thought I would.

Oh, come on guys, this is not a professional photo contest.

Tom has spent much of his precious time posting these pics to give us a pretty good picture of most of the options available and I thank him for that.

For my part, I would opt for the burgundy. And only because it appears from your pics that it is less red and more brown than it appears on the official site.

Wow, I didn't mean to stir that one up  .

I was just remarking on the fact that it's difficult to tell the true difference between the straps. I think the burgundy one is really nice and I do really like that shirt too :D .

No harm, no foul. They are iffy pics, thus my disclaimer.

I think the black calf looks the most natural, but that croco looks really nice. Actually, can I change my vote to croco, that's what I'd pick if I had a choice.
