That was a good video. I have seen a similar video showing GO watches, but this one was much more "in depth". Thanks for sharing that.

They don't do public tours of that facility, i did one a few months ago, no cameras or phones, yet they let the tv crew in there. the building itself is VERY impressive and its a big big place, quite impressive what they go through, and that was just to make the movement. everything else was at the gretchen building. very cool to say the least.

Awesome video! Very cool to see what goes into the movement. I also liked the employees supporting the company haha...

Two things, one this is really regarding the BO1 movement correct? Second, are the employees wearing customer watches / new watches to test them in "real world" situations?

Well Sco,

About the BO1 - I have no idea :| .

In the video, it does say that the watches are tested on a movement jig - this simulates a person wearing a watch (I don't recall how long the test went on but I'm sure it says that in the video too). So I can't honestly see why they would give employees watches to 'test'. More likely, they may have been given the watches at substantially reduced purchase price (perhaps a perk of being a Breitling watch maker). Also, how do you think it would look if you have professional watch makers at Breitling wearing 'A N Other' watch brands in your promotion video :?:

Yeah, like Travolta doing a promo for Rolex but wearing his Breitling or so it seems.

Cool video. Thanks for posting.

Here's an interesting look at Blancpain. It's been posted before, but now seems as good a time as any to revive it.

they are all wearing their own watches, 90% of them wear breitling, but not all actually, and 75% of the watchmakers are women there actually. that surprised me most.

and yes that is all b01, all the rest are made elsewhere

I was surprised that most of them were women also, I'm not sure why but I was. I gotta say though, I think I'd kill someone if I was at the same workstation for 8 hours a day putting tiny little screws on.

On a side note that hitting a Seawolf with a sledgehammer test is kinda cool.

Hear Hear Tomcat - I still think Travolta was 'sticking the V's' up at Rolex :D .

Very cool indeed! It's amazing to see the scale of production that goes into these watches.

Thanks for reviving Jackson, I truly enjoyed watching that video - what a beautiful watch (I have one somewhere in a drawer of my bedside dresser, would you like pics? Okay, okay - a guy can dream can't he? :D :D :D) .
