Steel, Black Rhodium Dial, Silver Roman Numerals

.... I'm leaning more towards the rose gold on black (absolutely in love with the rhodium dial especially seeing it in person), but it feels like the gold is too flashy for everyday wear. I do believe that you can't go wrong with either one... I'd just like to make my first purchase the "right" one since my local AD agreed to give me 19% off. What do you think?

I love the two tone roman Chronomat - I'd take the burgundy dial, but I don't like it on the TT bracelet - I would put it on croc. If it's going to be your every day watch then the gold may be too much - depends on your preference and job, but bear in mind that the gold is a lot softer than the steel so it isn't such a practical option.

Out of your choices I'd go for the rhodium dialled steel, but it's ultimately your choice.

i have a blk dial, my only complaint is that in the sunlight sometimes it looks blue. If i would to purchase one again i would go with the white dial. its the crystal that makes it look dark blue.

I really like the roman numeral dials.. remind me of the Crosswind which is one of my favourite Lings.

I had a blue twotone Evo before, you should consider that option... it is beautiful and I found myself looking at my wrist everyday admiring it (for almost 2 years!).

Rose gold roman numerals on black would be my choice, although I personally think it looks much better on black croco than on the bracelet. (I just don't like TT bracelets)

I'd longed for that particular model for years but since I got into the Bentleys the Chronomat has always felt too small on my wrist when I've tried them on. It's a shame really as I love the roman numeral version because (as Admin said) it's very similar to the old Crosswind.

The other thing that slightly puts me off is the rolled gold crown and pushpieces. Yes,I know they'd be more durable than solid gold, but call me Mr Picky, but if I'm buying gold parts I really want them to be solid gold!

And here's another vote for that rose gold roman numerals choice! It is really beautiful!

maybe this will help, and by the way this is not a rhodium dial, but rather just a black dial w/ romans..the rhodium dial is not out yet, the rhodium is a deep silver color

Agreed. The SS roman numeral model is very beautiful too. It just needs a couple more mm on it's diameter and then it'd be perfect! :)

Well, I seem to be in the minority because I don't like roman numerals on the face (or indeed digits), so I'd vote the for the m.o.p. face with stick markers.

But as this thread shows, there is so much variation in personal taste that only you can decide what you'll be happiest with.

You arent alone Iang.
I think the two tone with roman looks hideous. I would get the MOP white dial out of those choices. It looks amazing, and is super neutral making it perfect for everyday use. I also like the black face, but dont like the roman numerals. They are too big and make the dial look like they stuck on all the bits and pieces they could find...but it still looks a million times better than the gold numerals--actually looks pretty good if you like roman numerals, esp. in UB77's pics.
