There's a jeweler shop near me that is having a liquidation sale. I don't really want to spend the money right now to buy a watch, but if a price is REALLY good, I may consider. My question to you guys is, what would be that price for a superocean where it becomes a "must-buy"?

40% off and I would buy one today! 30%, I could wait. If they are truly liquidating then 40% or more off should be attainable.

I'm thinking about the Steelfish. Ignoring the percentage discounts (which they can game by jacking up the base price), what would be a good price to buy Steelfish at?

They cannot "jack up" the base price. The MSRP is set by Breitling and they are obliged to disclose it. Unless it's not an AD then i guess you are on your own.

Ohhh gotcha. I'm a newbie (if you can't tell yet), and this would be my first Breitling. Any idea what the MSRP for Steelfish would be?

The last retail price for the Steelfish on the bracelet was $3,180. The head alone was $2,640.
