Hi any one got ideas on how good the M1 is?

Would be glad of the advice

Good is a difficult term to quantify. It's a COSC certified Breitling - same as all of the other modern Breitlings. It's water resistant to 1,000m so probably waterproof enought for your needs.

It's Titanium - some see that as a plus, some a minus, it's really a matter of choice. It is a Quartz movement rather than mechanical, and it is being discontinued.

Hard to add anything to what Roff said.

What it comes down to is whether you like titanium and quartz movements. If you do then it's a great watch. If you don't, better to look elsewhere.

To add, I believe the M1 uses a SuperQuartz movement which is Thermocompensated. This means that it adjusts to the outside temperature changes in order for it to be accurate.

All modern Breitling Quartz are thermocompensated in order to get COSC certification.
