A ceramic bezel diver sounds fascinating (I'm guessing that is what FEAR is hinting at). I'd love to see the World with an in-house in a manageable size (43mm) like Sergio suggested, but don't see it happening.

the b01 powered chronomat 41 isn't manageable, 44 too big and 41 too small?

I was excluding the "newer bezel" models. They aren't options for me even at a nice size like 41mm.

call me an eternal optimist....but i think that Breitling might just pull a horse shoe out of their **** and surprise us all.

i was one of the people that expressed my hatred for the buck rogers bezel but its startint grow on me. im not saying that i will run out and drop some dough tomorrow but i guess i dont hate it as much. i hope that DLC and rubber bezels have gone the way of the dinosaur.

who knows guys they might just surprise us all next year.

YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST....you will see an in house dive watch, non chrono, like an upgraded superocean 44 to go head to head with the the sub-c and gmt2 from rolex

Rubber bezel????

nope

Now you see it's things like this that give me hope that Breitling may yet drag itself out of the wilderness and start producing handsome watches again. I guess rider tabs are a thing of the past, so it will no doubt be a Buckified bezel of sorts, but if it's got a pearl, it might actually be a proper diver again! :woohoo:

Now don't go getting your hopes up. It could have a bezel like the new Colt. If that's the case I'm selling my BB out of spite.

Curious, with the way Breitling prices have been ridiculously increasing, are you guys really in the market for new in-house + complications Basel models with mid-to-late 2012 prices??

Personally I can't see myself spending those kind of numbers on a Breitling...

yeah it is getting pricey. its hard to say yes or no right now without knowing what is going to be offered. but lets be honest....luxury watch maker has seen increases across the board. That said if the designs upcoming are amazing then there might be a chance.

:yeahthat My thoughts exactly. Once the change to all in-house movements, probably won't find a Breitling for under $5,000 - then the whining will start anew  .

I'll probably start looking at some less expensive brands that still offer pilot and diver styles, but keep the older/used B's.
