Just wanted to share my most recent acquisition with you. It looks like no-one else has posted real pics of this yet, so here goes!

Thanks for the positive comments, guys. :)
Its one of a very small number of new Breitlings that I really like and I'm very glad that I pulled the trigger on it!

Congrats! I like that dial color combination and of course the all brushed case and bracelet is a big plus IMO. Thanks for great pics, some of the first I've seen of the new Colt Chrono.

To my knowledge these are the first "official" pics on the forum and they are great.

The new "Colt" doesn't speak to me, yet, but if it works for you that is all that counts.

Enjoy it and wear in good health. :lingsrock:

I was very critical of this watch when it first came out. I thought it was terribe and ugly. But, after seeing these pics, I have to take most of those words back. I like the white. Very nice watch!!!

Bumping and hijacking this older post...

Great pics first off 1952.

I used to be a regular over on WUS but became jaded with high end items for a few reasons, which I won't go into. I ended up deciding to sell all my watches off and go watchless for an entire year...This was January 12th of this year.

At any rate I told myself that when this self imposed hiatus from timepieces was over I'd purchase a single watch, wear the thing for as long as I can until it can't be repaired any longer, then buy a replacement, hopefully a great many years down the road.

Probably 90% of my collection was Omega and I can say I've never owned, nor really had a real desire to purchase a Breitling...That is until I saw your pictures 1952...

When I came up with my plan to sell all my pieces off then buy a single piece in a years time I immediately decided I wanted a quartz piece...Didn't decide on what type as I figured I'd have an entire year to think about it. Needs to be quartz simply for the ease of use involved in just picking a watch up off my dresser, putting it on, then being on my way. Then there is the accuracy involved in quartz watches...

Nobody does high end quartz watches like Breitling so that's what led me to this post a couple weeks back...After seeing these pictures I headed to the closest Breitling AD in hopes they would have this watch...Long story...err...long...They had the blue dial version which I fell in love with.

Just want to say thank you 1952 for making my one watch decision so easy...

I'll see everybody January next year with pics of my new blue dial Colt Quartz Chrono II...

Glad to be of service ! You are right, nobody does a good quartz watch like Breitling does. Although opinion is divided about the styling of their new range, I think they really needed to update the lineup. I still don't tire of the look of mine, and I'm glad that it looks different to the other Breitlings that I've had. :)
