Hello all I am very new to this site and I am also very new to the world of breitling watches. I'm sry if this is in the wrong place but I was wonder if I can get sum help. I was offered a breitling evo blue face metal band for 1900$. I was wondering if that was a good price for a used watch. Comes with box and all the papers. Please let me know if this is a solid deal I should act on.

Thank you

In my books, it's a solid price. If you don't know much about Breitlings and how to identify fakes, post some pictures in the Breitling Identification section.

Cheers.

Well, aside from the advice in the FAQs on pricing, I think I would want more info before saying that.

Age, service history, condition, etc - all can have a big impact on price, and if the OP isn't a Breitling expert are we sure that it's an Evo rather than an earlier (cheaper) Chronomat.

Agree with Roff, plus are you talking $1,900 USD? Not sure where you are from.

I haven't seen it in person yet. I kno it's a chronograph blue face evo. It's maybe 5 years old and I'm told perfect condition. It's also being purchased in the united states so it's usd. I'm just trying to see I it's a good ballpark price.

As Roff said, without pictures and documents/service history, there is no way to tell you something relevant. it might be a great deal, it might be a fake, it might be a technical wreck. I assume it is a private sale, not a jeweller/dealer ?

Yes it's a private sale but I do know it was originally bought from a jeweler. In a perfect world and the watch is perfect condition cosmetically and mechanically would 1900$ cash be a good deal. I understand there many variables that can affect price but I'm just trying to figure out of the deal is good or not.

If the watch is in good condition, it's a great deal.
