Brushed for me. The point of the BB seems to be that it's simplified and stripped back.

the sr-71 is a black matte plane it doesnt make sense for me a sr-71 based watch whit a polished finish or blue dial

the only options i consider are the brushed black and the blacksteel version
(own a brushed black dial /brushed bracelet)
i just really hate polished watches...just look cheap to my eyes...even if it is a very expensive watch

What doesn't come over in many of the pictures is that the front of the watch and bezel are brushed but the sides are polished. So it's not quite as matt as you may think.
V. happy with mine though. :D

:yeahthat

As is the case, for example, for the Steelfish.

Brushed and black dial is what I'd choose too.

One of the best and most distinctive breitling available, Imo. Damn...why haven't i got one yet?

I had the brushed version. Much easier to look after. The polished version requires cleaning about twice an hour.
Really nice watch I do regret selling mine.
Looks great with any strap. Steel, leather or rubber and at any occasion.

Thank you very much for all your feedback.
I did exactly what most of you suggested and bought the BB with black dials, and on the brushed bracelet.
It was sourced from Andrew Michaels Jewellers, and delivered early this afternoon.

It is a stunning watch :D
