I found it at the russian Watche Forum.
The owner says it's his father watch - the gift from swiss man. The end of 80-th, pre-owned.

But I'm sure this model never was made like gold plated (may be pained later?)

Strange word "PROTO" across Breitling logo.
Strange "adjust swiss" on movement, but movement looks like original.

The crown is not original, but the owned says it was polish by time & use. It's bullshit!

What do you think?

Thanks a lot from Russia! :lingsrock:

It looks real to me and there is an 18k gold 81970 in the 1985 catalogue.

Maybe it really is a prototype for the 18k model. I've no way of knowing.

Looks like a genuine Breitling Antares from around 1990. Crown should be a little bit larger. I don't know about the gold plating though.

I think that the plated ones (and they were still plated in those days) had that caseback.
