Been thinking about this......

Sell both my Super Avengers and buy myself a new Rolex DSSD?

I do love my SA's but only get a chance to wear them at weekends but I feel I could just wear the DSSD 24/7 as its a more practical size and will look good with any clothing etc.

I'm unsure...

Cheerz

I would, but i'm not a massive SA fan. The DSSD is brilliant.

New DSSD is £7000

I'd get £3000-£3500 for my Blacksteel SA and another £300-400 for the BS Deployment

I'm sure I would get £3500 for my SA with gen diamond bezel even if I sold the bezel separate

So I reckon I would be pretty close even if I had to put a few £'s towards the Rolex

How does the DSSD feel and look sizewise scince you like SA's aswell?

Cheers

I basically did the same thing to get my 6.75, so in my opinion it's worth selling two to get the one you really want. That being said, I have to think the Rolex would wear drastically smaller and to me that would probably be a dealer breaker.

it wears SIGNIFICANTLY smaller, but its comfortable, its quality is unparalleled in anything i have worn in that price, and if i had to pick just one watch in my collection to wear till i die, its in the running for my gold bentley and sa for sure

if FEAR is saying that then its one hell of a watch!

the DSSD is awesome. personally i own a subc because i have a smaller wrist. but if u could pull off the DSSD i would own one. i guess the only thing you need to ask is selling two worth it to you?

Based on my own experience, wearing a Rolex will not generate the same amount of attention as wearing a Breitling watch especially the Super Big Bling Avenger. I always get compliments whenever I wear my SA's even from people who are not into watches. :D

That's interesting. For me that's exactly why i'd go with the Rolex. I don't really want to draw attention to my watch. I guess we all buy our watches for different reasons.

Both are amazing watches but for some reason, Breitling gets noticed a lot more probably because of its sleek and modern appearance compared to the conservative safe look of a Rolex. The attention that a Breitling watch generates to the wearer is most likely the reason why this brand is so popular amongst hollywood celebrities. :D
