Hey guys,

This one is up for your consideration. I'm selling one of my watch as some of you know, to get myself a Navitimer World (silver dial). I'm also considering a Blackbird (brushed).

While i know these are two very different pilot watches, i'd like to know all of your opinions on the matter. The watch is going to be bought used when i see them come up for the right price and i know they come up for about the same price...so dilemma..

I might end up selling both my watches to "upgrade" to these, but if i don't, which one???

To me, if your wrist can handle a World, that's the way I'd go. I'm also considering that if you sell one of your existing watches, you'll still have a black dial. I've always enjoyed when I had the choice of a black or a silver dial.

Yeah i handle the 45.5 PO just fine. I tried the Navi World with a black face once and size was good also, even though i have 6 3/4 wrists. Wonder if the silver is going to look way bigger or just slightly. I'll see when i get there i guess.

I voted for the Blackbird. I still kick myself for selling my two birds, they're just awesome watches with the coolest breitling bracelet. Here is an old pic of my two worlds, the silver/white world wears much larger than the black dial.

To me it depends on what you are planning to use this watch for. If the plan is for it to be a daily wearer, then go for the BB as it's probably easier to live with on a daily basis - no WR worries, etc. If it's not a daily wearer (and you are keeping your Omega PO) then I'd say go for the Navi World as the Navi is the classic Breitling IMO and the World is just a modern sized version of that.

Either way I voted World as I've owned a couple (and still own the silver dial version now), while the BB has always left me slight non-plussed in person - great in pics, less so in the flesh (all IMHO of course).

Just the opposite for me. I think the pics seldom represent how nice it is in person and if a little bit bigger I would have never parted with mine. If my taste ever changes to get something smaller it will probably be the one.

Thanks guys. I know if i get a World, i'll probably keep the CSO as a daily wearer.

If i get the BB, i'll probably end up selling my CSO and get a World.

Don't know what to do, always told myself i'd keep the CSO since it's my first watch. But if i get a BB, i'm sure i won't wear the CSO anymore. Don't know.

welcome to the sickness....I want a different one seemingly every day. I only have two now, and mostly wear one every day, and one for more special occasions and times when I need to dress up. It really depends upon what you do, how you will use them etc. In fact, you cannot possibly go wrong with either choice. its why I find myself looking in the for sale section a lot, one is never enough.

Two completely different watches, whichever one you choose will be the correct one for you.

Big date at 12 o'clock, faceted bracelet, perfect size. Blackbird all the way. If it had a GMT function, it would be PERFECT. :lingsrock:
