Every night when i'm getting ready to go to sleep, i take off my watch and put it on the nightstand next to my bed. I've thought about putting it back into the box every night, but i usually dont.
My girlfriend was asking me last night about why i never put it in the box, and honestly its a good question. I guess its just habit now. So out of curiousty, where do you guys put your watch(s) when you take it(them) off?

I put my watches in a watch case at night. Padded leather helps keep the hairline scratches away.

Padded nightstand for the one I'm wearing for a few days, the gun safe for the ones waiting their turn.

Yes, I only take it off when washing/showering.
Mind you, I only have the one :-)

After thinning out my collection, I only have one now as well.
I can say I've fallen asleep with my watch on before, and I always thought it was extremely uncomfortable.

I can honestly say that I don't notice it at all. It just seems normal now.
