Rocking the Cockpit the last couple days and grateful I held onto it! Such a nice crossover watch.

Glad you're rocking out with your Cockpit out. It is a true classic.

Now for something completely different. I was looking for a cheapy Japanese watch for "beat-to-hell" duty and while thumbing through the G-Shock-oramas came across this Orient automatic. All in all, it's rather meh, but for 6 bills it was worth the gamble as a very occasional wear. And they just threw in a nice little (38mm) three hand auto with a white dial as a surprise(perhaps a mistake). Had they done that his time last year I could have saved a boat load versus that Chopard I got my daughter!!!. It will do for "WTF I just want to put on a watch, not a timepiece" duty. (judging from the blinding white dial in the Arizona sunlight, the black dial would have been a better choice!!)

(spare the Xezo comments!)

Don't let the folks at Breitling see that watch. They'll put a rubber bezel on it and call it the new Navitimer.

A wee bit philosophical for me. Fact is I do not like it at all. It was worth a shot. And the forum deserved an entertaining moment.

Tagish perhaps. I couldn't even wear it for an entire afternoon. I started feeling heaviness in my chest and pain in my left arm. Heart attack? No, the symptoms went away upon removing the Devil beast.

Cosmonaute again. Can't really decide whether I prefer the calf or SS bracelet. The bracelet really is the most beautiful I've ever seen but the calf plays perfectly with the black dial. Only real drawback is that the bracelet is the hardest I've ever found to remove.
