photoshop?

EDIT - Aaaahhhhh!!!!! I just visited Blancpain's website. It's real. In fact it looks like someone photoshopped a Xezo dial into a Blancpain bezel into a Uboat case. WTF were they thinking? Breitling changes suddenly look conservative. Oh my gosh. Maybe it's just a Romanian LE. Please.

WoW, that is super fugly, I think I hate the rubber strap more than the watch. The rubber strap looks like something spiderman would have on his costume.

Looks damn awful, how someone can design that and think it looks nice is beyond me.

Mushrooms is all I can come up with. Had to be. Time for the Blancpain guys to get a new pig.

What a shame, and a waste of a beautiful, simple watch platform.

I assume that the colours are to distinguish between time / depth / tide easily, which I guess makes sense for divers - quick glance tells them what they need, but for Joe Public, well it's er, 'different'.

Did Blancpain hire a Breitling designer? That's awful. The FF was perfect as is. I have no idea why they would mess it up like that.

Can't that be done for illumination without it being apparent in daylight? It's a serious question - I don't know the answer.

OK well I'm going to be the solo voice of disagreement (or is it madness) and say that I actually quite like it, PROVIDED I mentally disassociate it from the more traditional (and much more attractive) three hand Fifty Fathoms. As a standalone watch I think it's an interesting piece, and I think there are far worse looking watches out there. A quick look at the current Chronolog will show that

To a degree.

Different colour lumes tend to look different to one another in daylight, but nowhere close to the extent that this is done.

You quite like it??? At apx $40,000 and 55mm what's not to love right?. It's a disaster; more so than all the Breitling disasters this year COMBINED....at least they're affordable...ugly but affordable. This x-fathoms is the ugliest watch I have ever seen. It makes a Graham look good.

OK I agree the price and size are both totally insane : I wasn't aware of either. That aside I still think it's OK looking as a standalone watch. There's no doubt the ordinary Fifty Fathoms is a million times nicer, but I can't say I hate this one.

It may be useful for someone who dives. A diver who has found 'the treasure' at that price.
