My Great Uncle bought this watch new. It's been through my Grandfather and then to me as of about 20 years ago. LOVE LOVE this watch. I'm just curious what it's value would be in todays market. Any ideas? Thanks.

Many, many 806s sold on eBay so that's your best indiaction of value. It will also depend on service history, condition, how original, etc.

This looks to be in original cnditio, but looks like it needs some TLC. Personally I wouldn't want to comment on value witout seeing hte movement - rust on the dial could be a bad sign if it's made it to the movement.

yes thanks. I have looked around ebay a little bit. prices seemed to be all over the place, which I guess makes sense they aren't all the same. the band isn't original, i certainly wish it was. My great uncle flew in the war with this watch on which is cool to me. I wear it now and then, wonderful watch.

Have you had it serviced recently? If it hasn't been serviced in a few years I wouldn't want to be wearing it, or even winding it as the oils will have dried up and you could cause some serious damage.

yes it was service a few years back. I've kept it wound almost all the time for the past twenty years. with some exceptions when I i'd let it go short times without winding.
