Is there a big difference in the money you pay for the same Breitling in European countries? Are these (much) cheaper in Swiss than in Holland? And if so, what country (after maybe Swiss) is the best place to purchase one? :lingsrock:

Hello,

I think that it will be cheaper to buy a watch elsewhere than in Switzerland (see the parity between Swiss franc and Euro)
Except if you can buy in Switzerland without VAT or other taxes if live in European countries...

Best regards,

Just had a similar conversation with BUK about strap and clasp prices - just been quoted (pre tax) £190 for a deployant clasp and £410 for a croco strap. Converted to US$ that's about $300 and $650 respectively. Looking at the price list on here (which is a couple of years old to be fair) you'd be looking at $240 and $480 respectively which, certainly in the case of the strap seems excessive especially since they've had to fly all the stuff over my back garden to get it to the States! You'd probably not be surprised to find out that BUK were not interested in price matching BUSA.

I just flew through Heathrow and Amsterdam and price compared various brands there. Taking into account the tax free price, US prices always seemed to be lower.

My recently purchased Montbrillant Datora had a retail price of $10.160 in Australia at a time when the Aussie dollar was worth more than the US dollar . When I bought my Steelfish 13 months ago the retail price was $3990 . I think the retail price in the States was $2990 . Can a US member confirm the retail price of a Datora for me ?
