Hey, I am new to this site, I have read on it quite a bit. I am on here to try and sell a Breitling watch, or to get some info on how much its worth. I purchased a Breitling Cockpit Lady from a Government Auction here in Canada. The watch was estimated at 7510.00 from the Government agency. I purchased this watch in a new state with out papers, and with out straps. I was curious to what my best bet as to sell this watch is, if I should buy straps, bring to Breitling.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I will post all the info I have on the watch along with some pictures.. Well I just realized I do not know how to post pics on the form, if you have any info you can provide me I can email some photos or take some more if need be.. If this is in the wrong subject please forgive me I wasn't quite sure where to post.

Women's Breitling Swiss Watch

Swiss Breitling watch, for ladies, steel, with diamonds on the dial and bezel, automatic movement, "Cockpit lady" model, without bracelet or box, new, 42.9 grams

Movement: Automatic, chronometer, water resistant to 100 meters

Case: Round, 15 sides, screwed in

Crown: Protected cabochon, screwed

Glass: Round, slightly convex, scratch proof synthetic sapphire

Bezel: Round, adorned with forty diamonds (VVS/F-G).

Dial: Round, white mother of pearl, black path in the center square, square date window at 3 o'clock, central seconds hand, diamonds on square chaton (8x) on the hours and silver roman numerals, luminescent hands.

For possible a value you should check out similar items for sale on Chrono24.com or completed auctions on ebay. This is the only way to get a true market estimate, as the value of a watch is entirely what someone is willing to pay.

If you want to sell it here, please put an advert in the Sales forum, being sure to follow the rules in terms of specifying a price, etc.

There was just one of these posted on TRF but without the diamond bezel but it came on the bracelet and was in like new condition. The seller was asking $2700.
