I'll bet $$ to donuts that quartz Colt will be well into the $3K range. I would not contemplate buying one anywhere near there even if it had an automatic movement.

Wonder if this bezel ends up on the Avengers.

3150 and 3850 on bracelet for the 2 mens colts

All the new Colts are quartz.

All three very handsome, modern and racy designs IMO. Especially the Chrono. The much hated end links somehow balance the visually heavy-ish bezell. I sort of accept even the SQ:s in them. It just seems to fit the Colt range. I´d go as far as to say I would even be interested in owning one... But then there´s the price, which is a bit out there. Way out there.

As for a pre-used one, I definetly would!

It does seem that B will be in the near future letting go of the Ridertabs alltogether. That´s very unfortunate. I hope they´ll keep a couple models in the lineup, but that´s probably wishful thinking. Allso the Pilot II bracelet looks to be in danger, which would be a shame too.

I for one (probably the only one) think They´re lineup needed a shake up. I´ve said it before. Too many models looked too alike. But that´s JUST me.

To me, I never liked the rider tabs, but thats picking the watch apart. It's a minor detail. I like the all metal bezal though. I prefer a bezal that is nearly flush with the crystal. I have a new SO, and l like how the bezal is flush with the crystal, but not a big fan of the rubber coating, but not enough to keep me from picking one up. It's growing on me slowly. I like the look, however I do worry about durability of it. Scratches on metal can buff out, on rubber? Not so much.

Not a fan of most if not all of the 2011 line but once again I feel these Colts are OK. My bets are that in the flesh, hopefully, they will be better than people are giving them credit for. Not impressed with the pricing though.

Ive always loved the rider tabs, and I though the new style rider tabs on the B01 were a nice refresh of the iconic look. I figured the new tabs would find their way onto all the models, but I guess thats not the case. What a shame.

I agree. The Colt line certainly would do well to have some variation of rider tabs on the bezel.

These models strike me as oddly bland given the recent lineup. Where the new models have lacked some much-loved features in previous models, they all at least had some new features to replace them (for better or for worse).
The new colts have a distinctly "meh" feel about them, especially given the all-quartz movements. No "love it or hate it" factor. I've rather liked a lot of the new models, but these just don't mesh...

Nice pics but it still doesn't talk to me.

I may need more time though....

I am very thankful that Breitling still has the Seawolf. Hopefully, they will leave it as is - with the great bezel and rider tabs and all. For a few hundred bucks more than the Colt, you can get one of those! That would be my choice any day.
Cheers,
Carl
