Anywho, I'm just wondering if other people here actually wear and get good use out of their watches or if they keep them in the box all the time and just pull them out for funerals and weddings.

Man, if that were the case, I'd need to go to work at a nursing home and get some more funerals in my life. Or, do the whole "Wedding Crashers" gig.

I wear a nice watch essentially all the time except showering. I always have even when my "nice" watches were $200 and less. But I'm not spending time each day hammering or busting up old sheet rock.

Honestly... My wrist feels naked without a watch now.

I generally wear a watch all day every day except when sleeping, showering and cleaning (for the navi - don't want it to get wet  ). Sometimes on the weekend I'll take a break but that's only until I leave the house again.

I wear my CSO all day with the exception of sleeping and showering... which can be dangerous if attempted at the same time... I have been switching to my Casio Pathfinder most weekends lately.

The only time my black Fish isn't on my wrist is while showering, in the hot tub or sleeping. I put it on in the morning and wear it until I go to bed. AND because its my "bang around", I do everything with it on. Including (Tom don't read this part), cutting firewood, woodworking, painting, working on the car, yard work, working on rental properties, hunting, fishing, swimming, golfing, sport shooting ... :) Oh I guess I do take it off when I trade it for a nicer one out of the safe, when I go to dinner or to something special!

Never take it off, only when its in the way if im working on my laptop, dont want to scratch the metal on my macbook air. But, when I work with paint or epoxy/resin i switch to my diver pro strap. I can replace that for $100 but the pilot is a little more expensive ;)(havent gotten anything on it yet).

I wear my Super Avenger all the time except in the shower and when I'm asleep. It's my everyday watch and has the scratches and dings to prove it. I like to say it adds character :)

I'd change watches five times a day if i could. Low attention span. But there will always be one on the wrist (except now as I type, funnily enough).

I wear my SteelFish almost every day all day. I do take it off when biking, I figure if I have spent many thousands of dollars in carbon fiber shaving grams off my bicycle I don't want to wear a quarter pound of steel on my wrist. It also gets in the way of my wrist bending on the handlebars.

Just this past week I went deep sea fishing in OBX. I was cranking in a 65 pound tuna and my Breitling's clasp/bracelet was hitting the side of the reel. I thought about taking it off when finished, but than decided this is a tool watch, I don't baby it any other time why start now. I had never seen the gulf stream waters before. Simply amazing color of blue. Really beautiful. My SteelFish has the blue face and I now know where they got the color idea from. If I had left my watch back at the house, the trip would not have been the same, at least to me. Also we got a good picture of me with one of the large tuna and you can clearly see my watch. Most would not care but I am happy to have the watch in the picture, and if it got a few more scratches on the clasp so be it.

I never wear my watch when i go out on fishing trips. I did one time and then i had a stupid looking tan line where my watch was...
