John at Watch Talk Forums covered the unveiling of the new Colt lineup at the Reno Air Races. See his write-up here.

Thanks for posting. I thought the picture showing the watches in the case made them look better than in the press/catalog images. I think I like this model better than the new SuperOcean 44, but I still prefer my Steelfish over both.

I have no idea. Among the Colts, it's only shown as an option for the Colt 33. I haven't checked the other ranges, but if it's only intended to fit ladies' watches, obviously that's going to present fit problems with men's watches.

I do think they look better than I'd originally thought although still cannot get over the bezels (actually diamond bezel would be nice for my wife). Overall, not something I would purchase but not as bad as I'd once thought.

That pretty much sums up how I feel, too. I don't like the bezels, but the watches aren't absolutely horrible, either. Still, I have no interest in getting one, and that would be true even if they were automatic.

Agree that the bezel isn't perfect. It reminds me of the Seiko Monster. Bezel is still better than that of the B01 and other new Windrider models.

Interesting how opinion varies. I'm one of the biggest critics of the Buck Rogers bezel, and yet, as I said in another thread, I think the Colt bezels make the Buck Rogers bezels look like works of art, especially the brushed one.

Agreed, but IMO when it comes to this Colt that's like saying having diarrhoea is better than vomiting! I think it's an absolutely horrendous looking thing, and the quartz movement just nails the coffin firmly shut. That sub-Tag bezel is just AWFUL.

I think that lizard straps have only ever been produced in ladies sizes, so no.

Yeah lizard has always traditionally been "one for the ladies" where Breitling is concerned. Bit of a shame because it'd work on some gents watches quite well too I think.
