I definitely do not baby my Seawolf. I take it off if I'm hammering or rock climbing, but other then that I wear it all the time. I've only had it about a month and I've already banged it off a few things (accidentally) and I actually put a tiny dent in the turning bezel (I think?) this morning when I banged it off the toiled doing chores. That one sucked :shock: ! Anywho, I'm just wondering if other people here actually wear and get good use out of their watches or if they keep them in the box all the time and just pull them out for funerals and weddings. I paid a shit ton for this watch, I'm going to enjoy it!!

I bought my first breitling in june, a silver dial steelfish. I have worn it everyday since.

Wear it to work, in the pool, the beach, took it on vacation, jet skied, para sailed, went deep sea fishing.

It has a few light scratches and one nice ding on the polished ring the bezel rotates around. But I fully intended on wearing this thing, and it only adds to the characters. Remember, the steelfish and seawolf were OVER engineered and can handle whatever you throw at them.

I like your style lol. I didn't know they were OVER engineered, but they are damn heavy so I guess it is obvious that they can take a beating. I like the PB quote too, sick movie.

I too have other watches for other occasions but since I purchased both an OR and leathter staps I can change the look totally and not worry about my Fish being out of place. As for dents and digs dont drop iton the crown like I did or you will be without it for awhile. Got it back now and it looks better than when I bought it, it also run +1 second today not the +8 after I dropped it.

Yup. Even did some plumbing with it on yesterday. I am careful and pay attention to what I'm doing, and if I can't or know I might put it in harms way, I put it somewhere safe til I'm done.

Pretty much wear it on the weekdays and switch to my Chronomat on the weekends. Brought my Fish to the Grand Caymans and had some fun with it in the ocean.

I'll generally wear any of my watches all day. Might change up if I'm out for the evening or something, and will remove them if the chainsaw or similar is coming out, but otherwise I'll never baby them.

I've worn my Breitlings all day everyday since 1998. The only times I took/take them off was:

1. When I go to sleep at night;
2. When I need to do manual labour where I know I'm going to damage the watch; and
3. Wore a cheap timex for two weeks on an escape and evasion course where I knew that they were going to take my watch!

Cheers

I wear them 24/7 except when I go to sleep or shower (if I don't forget to take them off :wink: )

Yep. Only exceptions when showering or doing work which may damage them.
Best,
Ron
