I like the 42mm SO Abyss (blue) on strap, but not sure I want to part with my steelfish on bracelet, what do you all think?

I would not trade YOUR steelfish for one!!!

Seriously, I own a Steelfish and would not consider the trade unless your fish has some issues.

Strictly a personal taste issue here. If you are looking at a 42mm on strap in part because the Fish seems a little big and heavy, then that's understandable. Otherwise, IMO no way. Keep the Fish.

I own both, and I wouldn't do it. I think the Steelfish is a overall better watch. My opinion of course.

of course it's about personal choice and to each man his own and really it's entirely up to you... actually no, only an imbecile would choose the Abyss over the fish (IMHO  ).

I don't think I would trade anything for the abyss... although with that said I could see it being a really nice pool / beater watch, but too expensive for me for those purposes.

Well, I sold the steelfish, and have been contemplating listing the SOII as well...so im probably not the most qualified after all. Pricing aside, I think id probably keep the SF if I had to choose one though. I like the SOII dial more though.
