Gentlemen,

We seem to be forgetting about the mutual respect for fellow posters thing again :!:

Man, guess we cant ask anything on here without being judged. I didnt think a simple question was going to turn into a whole new topic. But everyone is entitled to their opinion. So i decided to do without the laser weld and try to use the factory screws on the side to hold the new bezel together just in case if i need it service, i can just pop the old one back on.

The whole aftermarket diamond thing is kind of a touchy subject around here. Not many people here like the idea. (See this thread for some indication why.) A lot of us also are leery of having any kind of permanent structural alterations done to our watches, or any other kind of work that would make it impossible to get authorized service done on it. So, it was a given that you'd get some fairly heavy-handed responses to your question. I do think Peter was taking it a bit far, though - just my .02.
