Was at La Swiss in Montreal this past weekend and noticed that they had 2 Chronomat B01 LE on display. It's been there for quite some time now. I would have thought the LE models would sell faster than the standard ones. Is there no love for this watch or is it just the typical turnaround for this type of watch? I have one and absolutely love it.

I don't think the Chronomat B01 LE sold that well, I know my AD still has some left but they're just about out of the Navi B01 LEs.

At that price I would not hesitate to purchase a SubC which I almost did while vacationing in the Grand Caymans. It would certainly be about the same price as a discounted B01 LE.

Apparently, going to the Caymans inducing watch buying. I had been looking at the Lings a little over the past year, went to GC for a few days to visit a friend, shopped there, almost bought from the AD. Decided to give it some thought, went back to the condo and did some net looking, decided that the deal was not that great. After finding this site and others (this one by far the best source of info), educated myself a little, and now I am the proud owner of an Evo. And looking at some other neat watches for the future - I think JLC is next.
Thanks for having this site!

I bet it was at Kirk Freeport in Grand Cayman right? Such a tantalizing store. Makes you want to walk out with a brand new watch. I almost did but somehow (with the help of my wife and kids) I had the will to walk away empty handed.

Yes, I think that was it - across the road from the submarine on GC. Cool place, a lot of selection. When I go back, definitely will stop in to look again.

$8960. The LEs must really not be selling well if they're priced on a par with the standard versions. Maybe the difference is in the discounting - perhaps the LEs are discounted less?

My AD told me that since the LE is just that - limited and no longer produced, the price won't go up. Unlike the other B01's which are now only $40 chepaer. But the LE will be tougher to get a discount from depending on the AD. just my opinion.
