My girlfriend has Colt Ocean Quartz (1999) with a fighter bracelet were the links in the middle are polished and the side links are brushed. My daughter just bought a Colt Ocean automaic (2000) (still in the post)
also with a fighter bracelet, but in my chronolog 3 catalog it looks like the bracelet is opposite, polished on the sides and brushed in the middle. In my chronolog 3 catalog on page 162 are there pictures of both combinations. Could you choose a combination at that time, or is it only one finish deteremined (original) for each model ?

Just thought I'd mention that my Colt (A17035) which I purchased in 1999 has the figher bracelet and the side links are polished while the link in the middle is brushed. Now that I think about i I don't recall having a choice. Pehaps someone else can chime in.

I was wrong. The fighter bracelet on the Colt Automatic was the same as the Colt Quartz.
Polished in the middle.
