Hi

To my horror i have found that my stopwatch button (2 o 'clock position) has started sticking and not clicking properly on my one year old navitimer!

Should i be concerned?
Or is this normal if i haven’t had it cleaned before.
I do wear it every day, but look after it unless i ve had a few beers at a gig or something then it might have the occasional bit of beer on it but nothing major!

I am going to take it to my authorised dealer ASAP, just wondering if its easy to clean it and remove the button or do they send it back to breitling?

Ta Andy

An AD with a watchmaker should be able to help, but beer getting in there could be the problem - that's going to get all sticky as it dries.

Dont mean to rain on your parade just yet, but the AD can send whatever they want to breitling...whether breitling actually decides to fix it under warranty is another story. Theyll inspect it, and if they find that its not covered, theyll notify you and ask you to approve the charges or have it sent back.

You put beer in it, maybe it was just hungover and now it's fine.

So it started sticking again, so i ve had it sent back breitling, however they said there is a 13 week delay with repairs but said if its under warranty its normally alot faster and done as priority?

Has anyone sent theirs back recently ? and if so how long?

I feel lost without it!

So it didn't magically fix itself - shocking

Warranty repairs are given priority, ordinarily around 4 weeks but if the backlog is extended then may be closer to 6.
