The shore is the shore, in my college days I remember many fights at PJ Ryan’s in Stone Harbor. Some parts are much more affluent, but drunk idiots will infiltrate anywhere and everywhere. The nightlife is not that different in the Hamptons which you think would be exclusive with the cost of houses. Guidos rent summer houses with 10 buddies, so you don’t need money to wreak havoc in nice areas. I’ve been to the trashy parts of NJ where the show is filmed too. This show is EXACTLY what it’s like there in the summer. I used to love it because I didn’t know any better, and you can literally do anything you want there.

This is literally the ONLY reality show I can stomach, it’s pretty funny stuff. I don’t get the casting though……the shore DOES have pretty girls, but I guess none of them bothered to audition. Amazing it became a such a big hit with 1 OK girl and 3 “grenades”……

All of this speaks to Breitling though. I have recently posted that I have seen the brand worn more often with a younger, trendier crowd. I’m not sure how they are doing this running ads with someone like Travolta…..more than anything I think it’s the size of the pieces.

I'm only 22 and I have already learned in life that it is the ugly girls (inside and out) that want the attention and need you to help them with their own insecurities. The true beauties, don't need the attention, because they are comfortable with themselves and most likely can do fine for themselves with out a tv show and 15 minutes of fame.

It's funny but no one on the show is actually from Jersey (maybe one of them but i don't know which one) and the only reason they wear Breitlings is because of the bling. You can't get a shinier watch for around 5k. I don't think their watches are fake but the fact that they don't know what to do with them is very possible.

I know this is an old thread, but seen the show last night and was curious about the watches. Googled and found this thread, as well as a story about his watch. He paid 30k for it! If Ronnie has a blinged out BFB he probably dropped 50k. Love to be their dealer!

Hi All This is just another attempt at a FTard trying to buy class and ending up looking like a vulgar display of wealth , I have never watched Jersey Shore or do I intend to . After seeing several clips from the show I realised this show like Jerry Springer caters to the lower forms and does not meet our intelligence standards to be viewed in my home. Why are there so many programmes that make kids want to be drunken buffoons?

I don't know...why has rap and hip-hop infiltrated virtually all current popular music? I've given up trying to figure out popular culture, as I realize I no longer fit the demographic toward which most of it is geared. I'm just an old fart at heart.

yeah, they are all loaded. pauly d headlines "club nights" at casino's in vegas as a DJ. he has some kind of record deals, etc. etc.

you should see their cars. they are all millionares after that show...

It looks like Ronnie is also wearing a blinged out Super Avenger on this season. The dial looks to be one of those black mother of pearl aftermarket dials that I've seen before.

Maybe Breitling needs to pay him NOT to wear their brand like what happened to his other fellow Jersey Shore douche. The term "tool watch" has a whole different meaning with this dude.

Listen, im 23 and i cant stomach the show.
But you cant really hate on them too much. they did become millionaires for partying (not a bad gig). But, how much money do you think they will have in 5 years? They will most likely blow all their money like most actors and musicians that have short lived careers(especially with the lifes they live)
In a few years this fad will pass and their audience will grow up a bit. Sooner or later they will be forgotten. So i say let them live in the spotlight and blow their money while they can.

As for the watch... eh, kinda makes me wanna move away from Breitling.

I shudder to think of the state our society would be in if the measure of an activity's social acceptability was the remunerative benefit to the activity's participants. Bank robbing, prostitution, drug dealing and identity theft all have the potential to reward those who conduct such activities, too. So, good for the guidos for getting rich by flaunting their boorishness for all to see, but I'm still with PeterT: I don't think this show's popularity says a good thing about the state of our culture.
