It is my understanding that only 3 bracelets will fit the Old Navitimer. Old Nav/Cosmo, 423a and 440a. Can or will anyone explain why the 433a will not fit? I believe it is 22mm with a curved end link/piece. Is it the end link's curve that will not conform to the curvature of the case? Thanks in advance!

Correct.

The cases are different sizes and the curvature is different. There may also be differences in the lug location for the springbar holes. You may get it to physically fit, but it's not the same dimensions and won't be as good a fit as one of the right endlinks.

Appreciate the knowledge, thanks Roff!

Would it be possible to purchase the proper end links from AD and then create a "Frankenstein-esque" hybrid to fit my Old Nav II? I refuse to pay the $1400 AD is asking for the 440a.

423 / 440 endlinks will fit on a 433 bracelet, not sure whether the AD will sell you only the endlinks though.
