I was at Richmond Centre yesterday and noticed their Breitling Booth was gone! They also had no more Breitling watches on display anymore. It was 5 minutes to closing and we were in a bit of a rush so I did not get a chance to go inside to ask, but I guess that location no longer sells Breitlings? Anyone know?

This is very strange since La Swiss is owned by the Canadian Distributor of Breitling watches.

Interesting. I don't think the stores are franchised - I think they are all corporate owned which makes it very odd. I'm guessing that it is something peculiar to the Richmond store - are there others in Vancouver? If so, maybe the demographics don't make sense for Breitling in that store and they are going to distribute the watches across the other area stores???

I was told that they were robbed twice in 5 weeks. It came down to deciding whether they would beef up their security at a considerable overhead cost or to stop displaying Breitling watches at this location. Management (not at this branch) decided to stop displaying the Breitlings. I know for a fact that you can still order Breitling watches from them though.

I noticed at the Pacific Centre location in downtown Vancouver this past week or so, they seem to have a much higher inventory than before. Yesterday, they had 2 Avenger Skylands, a number of SuperOceans including the one with the new dial, and more than usual ChronoEvos. About a week ago, I did inquire about an intersting titanium on display, which was part of a Limited Edition of 50 Snowbirds. The sales lady there said that it had come from a store that had closed, so I am guessing in must be the Richmond La Swiss not selling Breitlings any more.
It is quite nice to see all of the models they now have on display downtown, too bad for the Richmond location though.
Cheers,
Carl

Yeah I was just at the Pacific centre location today and they did have an unsually high inventory of Breitlings it seemed.
