Just got a new Super Avenger... i love it! however the chronometer doesn't seem to work right? the minute hand (at 12 o'clock) doesn't seem to move by the minute and seems to go when it wants to (not coinciding w/ the second hand) did i do something wrong? should i take it in? sooo great to see a forum like this exists!

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

I think that you mena the chronograph rather that the chronometer - all Breitlings are certified chronometers, chronograph is the fancy name for stop watch.

The minute hand should tick the minutes in conjunction with the central seconds hand, not the running seconds at 9 o'clock. If that's not happening then you need to take it back to the AD because something is wrong, although I'm not sure how it could tick "when it wants to" it would have to be once a minute.

Thank you. i did mean chronograph and you are correct in that i meant that in conjunction w/ the central seconds hand...

it will spin around and sometimes go to 'one minute passed' and then other times a full revolution and no movement! i guess i'll have to take it in...

OK, so that makes more sense - if it sometimes gets 'stuck' then there's likely a problem in the movement and definitely needs service attention.
