My son has asked me to sell his Chrono-Matic, Black face with stick markers, The back says Special Edition. He bought it brand new approximately 5-6 years ago, It comes with all boxes and papers. Condition of head is excellent, band(leather is fair). Can anybody provide a link as to where I can get more info and can anybody suggest a price range as to its value? Thanks

Not sure what you mean by Chrono-matic 46, there is a Chrono-matic 49, but that's too new to be this one. There's also the regular Chrono-matic from that era - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... er_81.html. What's the model number on the back (letter and five numbers)?

Advice on pricing is covered in #2 here - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_faq.shtml#8

That's the one I linked to so you have most of the basic stats on that page.

Thanks for your help. Why does it say "Edition Speciale" on the case back?

Breitling designate some models as 'special edition' just because. There doesn't seem to be any logic to it, they just like to add to the mystique I guess. In some cases it's because they are only produced for a specific period of time, but I don't believe that there are any restrictions on this one.
