What's your favorite watch that you own or have owned in the past. I'll start, mine is the JLC Navy Seals Alarm Limited Edition. JLC made this configuration in a limited run of 19 and I was lucky enough to grab one. I love the way it fits and the all black looks pretty cool.

Let's see you favorite piece.

I'm in an odd situation. I wanted a Navi for so many years, finally found the right one in a pre-owned Heritage and was absolutely thrilled. Then came the chance for the Breguet. I'm still a little in awe of it and that I have it. Can something like that be a favorite? I guess so. If I had to sell one or the other I'd... no, that won't work either, Type XXIs are harder to find. Okay, the XXI still feels like an honor, a privilege, to put on. Ask me again in a few months, but the one I put on without hesitation right now is the one I wanted forever:

Sigh, so hard to say. I love them evenly like I love my children evenly. But I'd narrow it to my two APs:

That is a tough call, but the navi is what I wear most often.

not easy, but if I was forced to go with one it would be my 3750 speedmaster. even though I love my Navitimer, I have a longer relationship with the speedy. The Navi and I are still on our honeymoon but I expcet a long relationship eventually.

Oh man. It's among the Navi 01, Sub C, and GMT Master IIc. If I were to keep one it would be the GMT Master IIc for reasons explained in another thread.

But my "favorite" watch right now? That would be the 2011 Navi 01.

Still if I had to sell them all save one, the Navi would go. Not sure if that logic makes sense to anyone else, but it does to me. My "one watch" isn't always going to be my "favorite" among a collection.

Well, it's been a couple of years since I acquired it, but nothing has surpassed it, and it will take a very special watch to do so. Not what any of you will be expecting, but this is my favourite watch - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9789

That is a surprise. I was expecting that link to take me to your LM Twintech review!

I don't love any of my current collection these days! When I buy something I do, I'll post it.

Driver: No watch you love at this point? You have some transacting to do.

Shark: I think I get it. If I had to have one watch of my big three, it would probably not be my Navi. I'd keep a black dial that goes with anything. I might even take my old GMT if faced with that, and put the black bezel back on. That three-handed Rolex may be the least sophisticated of a lot of watch collections, maybe even the least attractive, but probably the most versatile and perhaps the only one that non-enthisiasts would recognize, to the degree it matters.

You're right, it is.

You're right, I do!

I feel a fire-sale coming on.

You should start with the Big Pilot...that thing has been a love/hate relationship for you. Flip that bad boy and something else, and get yourself one of the 46mm JLCs. Then you will have a new favorite...guaranteed.

I love my BP, but I know Driver feels differently. I also have the JLC EWC, 46mm, and have owned the JLC EWA.

If push came to shove, I'd probably keep the EWC over the BP, but it's a very close race.

Tough call, I love them all.

But using the "if I could only have one" criterion (which I know wasn't exactly the question but it's about the only way I can come to an answer) it is the Rolex Sub C without a shadow of a doubt.

If you had asked me three months ago, I'd have said my Seiko Pilot-style watch, but now, well, there is only one choice: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32295
