Sergio is right!! Everything in that box looks way too old for me. How old is archie? 90? I would liquidate every one of them and would still have to come out of pocket for a new ROO. Would be worth it though, would rather have an ROO over any of those.

I must say....the nicest thing in that watch box....is the actual watch box. Followed by the speedy. The rest are all old looking...probably bought with his old money.

Well... I am a bit particular to the Reverso that Archie has...

You're right. As much as I love JLC, I am not a Reverso fan, but I do appreciate what the Reverso represents.

I have no new money, nor old.

But I will say this, I would also take that ROO over anything in that box.

I guess I can live without the beautiful asian women smiling at and get down with the gold diggers.

Love,

I must say, I don't like the old fashion watches Archie has, nor his taste in women - "slightly older early 40s Asian beauties", why go for that, when you can go for two 20 year olds? :D

(also I think since I'm an actuary half the people I work with are Asian women in their 40's, that it's just not my thing)

I wish the yellow watch had the brushed background, I think that would look great.

Hello All,
This is Archie.....
I must say that the ROO is really a loud obnoxious piece....
When I was buying my Patek 5107 I could have picked a ROO on a rubber strap for similar money.... the reason I went for the Patek is simple....

IT IS EVERYTHING THAT ARCHIE DOES NOT STAND FOR!

The ROO is more to the Archie Persona..... but that is only a bit of fun.... NO - I could not ever wear a ROO ! To..... ummmmm .... HOLYWOOD!
