Hello all,
My Vacheron & Constantin 6405 is finally completed.

A quick history - I bought it unrestored, gave it a full service, professional polish, new crown and strap.

To complete the photo I managed to get a few shots when I visted my parents this weekend.... they have a Rolls Royce Silver Spur with Walnut picnic tables in the rear!

What a perfect place to take a photo of a VC! (in the style it deserves).

Also - The completed Collection at present (always adding slowly).

Nice VC, it's the nicest watch in the box by far.
As for the silver spur, that has to be THE ugliest Rolls Royce anyone ever penned.

And, mostly, destined for the US market.

Why anyone would spend $20k on a car that ugly is beyond me.

I can understand your pain but personal taste is so different. So, there is always something very ugly around but that appeals to some.

That's what "free" market is all about.
