I'm sure you probably could. I think it would look fine, the 24CM case is half brushed half polished and it looks great.
The sides of the links are polished rather than brushed on the 24 bracelet btw.

Does that mean in theory you could use a Brushed bracelet from the 24 hour SE on the standard C'Matic?

Not sure how a brushed bracelet would look on a polished case, but maybe.

Bracelets are not always easy to match (Sure you know Thomas).

It is the Geometery of the case not just the interlug measure.
The spring pin can sit in different positions and this is why we have so many UTC questions.

BN is the expert so I'm sure he will help.

Please can someone post some more information on the 2nd watch Alan M posted? the 24hr chronograph. I can't do a search as I don't know what its' called. I've been offered a new one in a shop but it says it's discontinued and they are knocking 33% off.

I love it but wondered if it was a good buy. It's exactly the same as Alan N's. I've seen others with a leather strap but mine will have the metal strap. I can get it for around £2800 new.

It's a limited edition 24 hour chorno-matic, 1,000 with a black dial and 250 with a blue dial from a few years ago.

Thanks for your reply. So it will have been sat in the shop window for a couple of years. the lady in the shop did say it would come with a 2 year warranty and wouldn't need servicing till 3 - 4 years.

It was produced in 2006, so it will need servicing within a couple of years at the outside. You will get the 2 year warranty.

I am going to bite the bullet and buy it. I've been looking for a while and want one that looks a bit different. How do you know when it needs servicing?

It won't be able to keep time within COSC specs and / or the power reserve will be significantly reduced from the 42 hours that it should have.

Sorry I missed the question. Mine is the black dial as Roff says.
