OK I just picked up a Breitling Aerospace for a pretty good price off ebay, It was water damaged and needed a new movement however the stem had rusted into place and had to be snapped to get it out, I had a replacement movement and have had that fitted however the problem is the stem that came with the movement is too short and does not fit the watch, I called Andrew Michaels today and was told they dont supply stems, So I either need to have one made or find another that fits any one have any ideas or a spare stem?

Breitling spare parts in general are not sold to people.
In Europe, if the AD follow Breitling trainee, they can get sorme spare parts (they are recognized as "Breitling 1st level technical center") to repair some watch with some limits.
If the watch need a full service, then it will go to the official technical center of the concerned country.
Also in this case, if Breitling change some parts on the watch by new ones, they do not send it back to the customer, it's "their rules".
So I doubt that you can buy or get somewhere some spare stem.
Perhaps the only way is to pass through an AD (here Andrew Michaels), and BUK in your case.

BUK is a no go they want to charge me £280 for a serivce and extra for parts if needed the watch just isnt worth that.

The prices are:
- QUARTZ/MULTIFUNCTION &QUARTZ WATCH: 01) MAINTENANCE SERVICE (£87) - COMPLETE OVERHAUL (£232)
- QUARTZ CHRONOGRAPH 01) MAINTENANCE SERVICE (£107) - COMPLETE OVERHAUL (£272)

So £280, it's for a complete overhaul of a quartz chronograph plus £8 ?

I had a few month ago a problem with an Avenger M1, maintenance with batterie change, and for 230€ they asked me if I agree to also change the stop/start & reset circuit. I did it.
In your case, it's better to do that, you will get a "new watch" with perhaps a new engine, it will cost less than the regular price (even if yyou got it on Ebay for a good price).
It's a long-term investment

the thing is the watch is worth around £500-£600 even if I spend £280 on it and get a new watch its STIL worth around £500-£600,So whats the point ?
