What Alinfrance said. Buying online means buying grey market, which isn't something I advise. It's not as crucial when you're dealing with straps and bracelets, as opposed to the watch cases themselves, but generally you're still better off going with an AD.

You will always get better prices on straps/bracelets through an AD than an online gray market dealer. They usually charge full retail of even higher.

That's something I didn't know. When I was saying it's more "crucial" with the watches themselves, I was thinking in terms of warranty, but clearly if grey market sellers are charging full price on straps and bracelets, that's a lousy deal too.
