Hi. Does anyone know if the Breitling Navitimer SS bracelet is the same model for a 41.8mm Navitimer as it is for a 38mm Montbrillant?

The lug sizes are different by 2mm I think. How about the leather straps?

I'm wondering if I could own 1 bracelet and 1 leather strap and swap them between these two watches.

It would be great if I could!

If the lug width is different, you'll need straps and bracelets for each width for optimum fit. In theory, you could take the narrower strap, use a longer pushpin, and use it on the wider case, but it wouldn't look right. I'm pretty sure you couldn't do the same with the bracelet, but even if you could, it likely would look even worse than using an undersized strap.

Thank you. I thought this might be the case :(

Do you know if there is such a thing as a Monbrillant model with a 22mm lug width so I could share bracelets and straps with a Navitimer?

I would love to own a 'black faced Navitimer' with a black calf leather strap and a 'white/silver faced Monbrillant' with a brown croc strap plus as a bonus, have a SS bracelet for both watches. lol

The Montbrillant Datora and Montbrillant Olympus both have 22mm lug widths. The Olympus has been discontinued for a couple years, so it might be tricky to find. I can't remember if the Datora got phased out this year or not. I didn't go through every single Montbrillant on the models page, but if you check, you might find more. Also, the new Montbrillant 01 went from a 38mm to 40mm case. I don't know if the lug width increased as a result, since Breitling has stopped posting that information. But it might be worth looking into.

I tried on a new brown Datora a few weeks ago from an AD. It was very nice :) The price was £5200 GBP though lol

Do you happen to know how much a SS bracelet and a brown croc strap with a folding clasp would cost for a 38mm Monbrillant?

The same as any other 7 row Navi bracelet or any size croco. There are links to price lists on the main page, but a Navi bracelt is in the ballpark of $1600 and the croco/deploy is up to around $700 now - approximates but an idea what you need to budget.

Always buy the watch on the bracelet - you get more of a discount on a the bracelet than if bought separately. Since the bracelet is x2+ the cost of the croco, you will do best getting the watch on the bracelet and buying the croco separately.

Shark gave you the US prices. I think you're in the UK, though, so hopefully another member will provide you with those. Otherwise call an AD. Shark's right about getting it on bracelet first, and adding the strap later.

Do you happen to know the price for the calf leather straps too?

Is there a place you would recommend that I should order these from online or should I use any AD?

What Alinfrance said. Buying online means buying grey market, which isn't something I advise. It's not as crucial when you're dealing with straps and bracelets, as opposed to the watch cases themselves, but generally you're still better off going with an AD.
