Hi all.......I am searching for a vintage (50's) Breitling Unitime worldtimer box (like the one here):
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ultra-Rare-1950s-Br ... 4cf8f1aa2eAnybody know where I might locate one? The online bay auction site has nothing - unless I want to buy the watch - which I already have.
Want to hear the back story here? I was at an estate auction and found this Unitime Worldtimer in a box of crappy pocket watches a couple weeks ago. Lady was only asking $25.00 for the box. Didn't really know what I had until I got home. Watch dial has some specks, but better than what is offered for sale on the bay store currently. Watch runs but stops occasionally (needs a cleaning), movement is clean and rust free and could use a new crystal. I was stunned when I saw what they are going for. Wish I could run into these deals more often!!!!
Thanks in advance to anyone who could help me in by search for a box, hang tag or papers for this watch.
Best regards,
Scott
You're better off looking for the lost city of Atlantis than the box...

Unitimes are rare as they are and it's safe to say they're almost close to non-existent IMO... but take it this way... your watch is rare as it is, and it will demand some money on the market... of course depending on condition and service history...
welcome to the source! and enjoy your rare find!
