I have found an old strap I have which is black and has plongeuer on the back of it. It is 18mm width fitting. Does anybody know if Breitling still make any 18mm fitting watches anymore or know if not which models it was made for?

Hello,

Is it in caoutchouc ? Then it's the Diver Pro II straps now (16/20/22/24mm), or Ocean Racer (20/22mm).
I got a 18mm from my AD in Paris, France, with Breitling written on it 2 months ago (ancient style of the Diver pro).

Ask your AD if you want a new one.

Best regards,

Challenger_fr

It isn't the rubber caoutchouc style, more a criss cross type pattern on it. I know it is genuine but is a good few years old. Just unsure if there is anything that would accept this size now. I'll try and get a photo uploaded

Sounds like the original Diver strap.

There are a few of the smaller models that have 18mm lugs these days, but ladies models. Largest is the 36mm Galactic.

Lots of 60s/70s models took 18 or 19mm straps (Long Player/Top Time and the like - I'm sure there are others (Roff?) - 18mm does work generally on a 19mm fitting.

'Plongeur' is French for 'Diver'.

Something like this?
