Thought everyone would like to know....

The Japanese fitting site - www.breitling.co.jp/fitting has been updated with the remodeled versions.

Of interest, there are baton and arabic versions of the SA on the site........

Had a go with the SA there on the Japanese site....The new SA really doesn't do anything to me. Bit disappointed with the new SA to be honest, just glad I have my old one on my wrist!! :D

Excellent!!

Never seen this - why is it not on the UK/English language site?

Will go back now and have a play - there isn't a button I should know about which irrevocably commits me to buying is there? My Japanese isn't very good!

The new SA just does not look right with the batons instead of arabics. Just an opinion---would like to have the SA with arabic, just can't pull the trigger at this time. So will hope I can find one when I get the jingle. Enjoy the day !!

My point was that if the fitting site is still listing the arabics, maybe they aren't going anywhere. Maybe the batons are simply an additional option in the same way as you can get a Chronomat with arabics, batons or romans.

The Japanese Breitling for Bentley site has the new Bentley GMT in the fitting section too. I'm still very VERY undecided about it. I like the dial, and the offset lugs with the bracelet look OK, but the bezel looks way too thick to me.

Having seen it, I'm decided.

The blue that I saw is probably the worst for readbility, but it was bad, and the bezel is way too thick.

Incidentally, did you notice that according to the fitting site the price of the GMT on rubber is more than the price on the speed :huh

No, I didn't notice that! That's just daft. It seems Breitling are trying to market rubber as some kind of exclusive luxury material! Not convinced by that AT ALL!

I am sure that is just a mistake. No way would rubber cost more than a bracelet.

Good thing I couldn't care less. Give me a Chronomat any day :!:
