The size of the dial is too small to apply larger hands - then it would wind up looking like a new SuperOcean.

Good point. I guess ideally they would have made the batons narrower, rather than making the hands wider. I'm not specifically saying I want more lume on the dial and hands. I'm talking about the proportions of hands to batons. I think the proportions on the standard 36mm DJ are spot on - the hands seem perfectly sized to the batons, and both are well-proportioned to the dial. In looking at it again, the hands on the DJII aren't the problem; it's that the batons seem like they're on steroids. I don't know why they didn't keep the proportions the same when upsizing. If the DJII looked just like the DJ, only larger, it would be a watch I'd seriously consider. In looking again at the Milgauss, only the cardinal batons are outsized for the hands, so the effect isn't nearly so obvious.

Here's wrist shots of the Sub C and Milgauss for a comparison. I have about a 6.5" wrist.

On second thought, maybe I'll take both.

Well, I'm off the Milgauss and on the Sub C officially, thanks;)

Or a ceramic 45mm PO, not making any decisions until the are available to see in the flesh.

Another convert! :brewing: :plot:

As for the PO, are you talking standard, or the Ti Liquidmetal? The Ti is plenty spendy, but it's got the fantastic LM bezel, and the Ti case and bracelet will allow you go big without wearing out your arm in the process.

I do like the idea of Ti but not sure I want the blue dial & bezel. That leaves me with the black ceramic with SS bracelet.

Too bad I can't find a Rolex & Omega dealer in one here in NJ. I do think one of the local malls has two ADs right across from each other. Will have to try one and then run to the other for comparison.
