You know what? You are absolutely correct. It never occured to me that the "New Asian" had risen to the level of being an even bigger asshole than the "typical dumb American." Thanks for enlightening me.

Five / ten years that will be a classic quote.

:uplaugh:

I was holding off commenting, but with this sentiment out in the open, what's the harm? Just because the Asian economies are flourishing at the moment doesn't mean they always will be. Booming economies have a way of hitting the skids after a while, and the party the night before leads to a pretty nasty hangover the next day. When that does happen (I say when, not if), the countries whose cups currently runneth over might be surprised to see how quickly luxury industries go from catering to them to not giving a crap what they think.

Hubris - like assholes - stinks no matter where in the world you live.

I was Gobsmacked at Fears statement about the million in sales figures a day for fine watches from Asian Tourists. This is a FAR cry from the Straw hat wearing Asian Rice farmer that Americans think they are competing with in the world economy.

America is the New France/England. Past its prime and probably headed for an even bigger fall from its position in the world. Makes you wonder what world politics will look like in 20 to 30 years.

You're sentiment is so far off base that it isn't even funny. Have you ever had English food?

Here in NJ we prefer to speak strictly in Stereotypes. It makes it easier for me to understand what I wrote when I read it again later :poke:

Here in NJ we wear the extra long white t-shirts for some reason. Not sure why, I am actually lucky when i can even tuck in my shirt but the trend here is.... long white T's. Its like a "Onesie" for urban Youth here.
I love your brother Keith's commercials BTW.
