Probably a stupid question, but will winding my superavenger while it's still running cause any damage?
Sometimes it stops the before I put it on, most likely because I haven't worn it enough the previous day to charge it.

Absolutely no damage at all. The auto winding mechanism will wind the watch through daily wear while its running...

give it 40 winds whether it's running or not from time to time. If not wearing it "enough" on one day has it run to a stop, it isn't fully wound. The rotor movement won't wind it, just maintain the tension on the spring. Wind away - you can't hurt it. It's what you are supposed to do.
