If I ever see one with the bracelet, I'll try it on. The straps are so thick and stiff at the lugs that it leaves big airy gaps on me.

No John hasn't said anything. But I have good watch-dar.

The bracelet does fit better on me than the hornback strap did. I am going to get a leather F1 Singspore AP strap, it's thin and very and very sporty. I think that will work well also...I'm not a hornback fan. Since I'm in between links, I think the bracelet will fit you perfectly.

Share with me your watch-dar. If it starts with a V then you're watch-dar may need calibration.

I've heard that before. Awesome collection.

Looks like the gmt2c and the 312 are setting new records. Is that the longest stretch with the same watch?

HA....the 312 was sold months ago. That's a Pam 359 that i got last week. The GMT IIc is 11months strong now and won't ever be sold. EVER. That will be passed down to my daughter in the future.

Wow. I see it now. How do you like it compared to the 312? This one is all polished, right? Btw, I've read numerous times that you sold the 312 but forgot for a sec. It's hard to keep up with you. Lol

Not near as impressive as some of the folks around here but my collection is my pride and joy. :lovesloves:

Each one has a time and a place, but none would be considered out of place at anytime. Nonetheless a nice dress watch is in the plans for next year, and I think the IWC Portuguese Hand Wound would fit the bill just perfectly. Until then i am pretty sure I can make do.

The 312 and the 359 are a virtual tie in my opinion. The 312 has an awesome brushed case and classic dial layout. The 359 has an all polished case which I'm growing to like a lot and the dial has vintage brownish colored numerals which looks outstanding. TIE!

Put the ROO on an OEM AP Racing strap and it really makes the dial pop. Love the new look. The quality of the AP calf strap is butter smooth, it's a bit expensive but worth it!

That looks great.

BTW, how do you change the strap on that thing?

Very carefully :D First you need a conversion kit with 4 plots and 2 new screws. Then you remove the 4 screws from the side of the case to release the bracelet. Attach the 4 new plots to the straps with the 2 new screws then attach the new plots to the case with the existing 4 screws. And wah-la :!:
