The Orange one is mine, the Black one is for my father.
Great watches for little money.
Love the lume, love the design, excellent bracelet. If I could change the crystal with AR-coated sapphire it would be perfect.

And a few pictures at Black Sea.
My wife's Seiko is SKX013 - mid-size submariner. We love to have same brand on our hands during holidays and trips.
So we have: Seiko SKX781 & SKX013; Omega Seamaster Professional & DeVille; Breitling SuperOcean SteelFish & Callistino; Victorinox DiveMaster 500 Mecha & Ladies Sportline

As you say, they make great beaters. I had a black dial version myself and apart from gaining like an IWC BP :poke: , it was a great watch. (Actually I'm being unfair on the Monster : NOTHING gains quite a BP!).

The great thing is they are very simple watches - only 21,600bph, they don't hack or even allow manual winding - so there's very little to go wrong over time. Plus the lume on the Seiko Monster is superb as well. AND, it's an in-house movement too (albeit a cheap one)!

Whats the ballpark price for one of these?

I think they retail around $400, but no one pays retail. You can pick them up new under 200 and used for around 150. I always meant to get one but never got around to it.
