Hi Guys

I was working in Cardiff and they had 3 B stocked AD's within 100 yards of each other all with a few new pieces

Only 2 i liked were the Monty Heritage with black face and silver bullseye subs And the Navitimer 1461. But the prices are shocking!

See me looking in all the forums for sale from now on. I just cannot afford new anymore :(

I was horribly dissapointed with the Avenger BS code yellow and also sadly with the Chronospace Auto's too. I really wanted to like them

Davey

Where Are All The 2011 Models? Not here and wont be. Firstly for styling and price. My local AD has the SOII at retail 2700E and the chronomat GMT at 7515E on leather. Come on. . . Thats pushing $11000 for a chronomat on leather. . No thanks much better options out there for that kind of juice. So no new models for me. I am priced out of it at than money. Even the standard chronomat B01 on pilot is well over 8k. Given the styling, colours and rubber and all that junk of the lower priced models, no thanks. Mad if you ask me. As they say on Dragons Den. . . I'm out. . . Sub C. . . . Here I come

I just bought the Transocean Chronograph, mercury silver on a mesh metal bracelet. While I was in the store the AD sold a Breitling Bently and a yellow SO. Im not sure why people on here think Breitling isnt selling the 2011 models, my AD had a case full and tons of interest. At least in my neck of the woods there is high interest in Breitling and their 2011 models.

Why? Because this is the one site on the internet where new models typically explode with Gallery and Review threads and it hasn't happened much at all. I haven't seen much on TZ or WUS either.

As for the B4B and SO, well, they aren't 2011 models.

Anyway congrats on the TO Chrono. It is one of the very few new models generally liked by the memberrs here.
Wear it it good health! :lingsrock: AND POST SOME PICS!!!!!!

If they'd put the TO on a proper bracelet, I'd certainly consider it. If they'd put it on a bullet bracelet, I'd probably start drooling.

A regular bracelet would seal the deal for me.

Agree 100%! A pilot or even a Pro II and I could be in the game.

I know I'm weird this way, but they'd have to make sure the endpieces fit flush with the lugs. The lugs are so long, and the pivot point on the mesh bracelet is so high, the lugs stick out past the bracelet like buck teeth.

That's a given. But the SEL doesn't have to reach the ends of thr lugs. Most watches do not have that.

Hmm...that's a detail I've been paying very close attention to lately. I know not all watches have that, but most of the models I've been looking at for my next watch do. Price doesn't seem to be a determining factor, either: the Sub-C, GMT II-C, and Explorer; Omega SMP, PO and AT; Blancpain FF; Zenith Chronomaster, to name just a few.

If you have a smaller wrist be somewhat careful there - some, not all, will have an awkward angle - like little wings!! - depending on the style of bracelet. My Chronomaster had that problem as did the Master Compressor Chrono bracelet. Not a poroblem with smaller watches like the Rolex Pros.

I've just tried on the CSO this evening and have to say I loved it.
Could be a review on that in the gallery soon...

Great. I am hopeful Breitling will weather the storm until they "get their mind right" and start making interesting models again. :poke:

All the more reason to go with a Rolex. As if I needed more.
