Ladies and Gentlmen I have an annoucement that is quite a sad one for me to make but its a fact that has to be faced, I no longer own any Breitlings :wowzers :wowzers :wowzers In fact I have only have ONE decent watch in my collection now and its not a Ling, The work situation has been bad for a while and means that funds have been going down much faster than they have been coming in so needs must and on Sunday the last ling went that was my B1.

So here it is the titanium version of the Seamaster 2232.80

I will however be buying a Ling again as soon as funds allow :lingsrock:

It's okay... just think of it as temporary... it'll definitely be fun again once you build up your collection again... hang in there!

Everything with sonyman is temporary, a month from now he will have a totally different collection - he makes Sharkman and mfserge look like lifetime owners

No, but I've thought about that a lot and if I had to get down to one it would be my GMT IIc. Even though youre down to one watch that's still a damn nice watch!!!!!

Sorry to hear about that Sonyman. If it's any consolation my watch-buying has also been put on hold this year on account of the current financial market. The last watch I bought was my Lum Tec M25 back in October last year, and while things are looking up a bit now, things with a big bill attached to them keep rearing their heads, so it may be a while longer yet. :?

It'll all turn itself round in the end though mate.

Sorry to hear that Sonyman, I am sure things will turn up though! Just keep the faith! You where not around back then but in late 2009 I faced a personal crisis and had to sell all my watches (modest collection) and I had hoped to one day be able to buy some of them back, since then my fortune has changed in a way and time frame that I did not expect. Life can through you a few curve balls but if its one thing I learned from my father its that hard work and good ethics will always stear you to calm waters!

here is to you getting that dream Breitling sooner rather than later!

I don't see any particular shame in being Ling-less, and you could do a lot worse than having an SMP as your sole "good" watch. It's a great all-around watch - attractive, well-made, accurate, durable, and reasonably priced. Hell, it's the only watch the Duke of Cambridge wears...and his is a quartz midsize.
